My Entry for the NSIDC 2006 Valentine's Day Challenge. The task was simply to make something out of chocolate for a tasting competition.Since the March of the Penguins movie was very popular at the time, I used it as my context for the challenge. Everything is edible but the toothpicks, umbrellas and signs. I cut out a piece of the chocolate cake and put in a blue jello ocean. I floated sugar cubes on the top of the water. I also used sugar cubes to build a linux workstation. I added Gummi fish, sharks and whales on and in the jello ocean. I used cookies and chocolate to make surf boards. I used fruit roll ups for towels. The Ted and Rob sign was to show respect for two of NSIDC's scientists who were busy floating on an iceberg at the time of the contest.
